Join us for an unforgettable afternoon of cinema and historical discussion with a special screening of the 1934 masterpiece Cleopatra directed by Cecil B. DeMille.

After experiencing Claudette Colbert play Egypt's most iconic queen, Members are invited to enjoy a drink at the Museum’s bar before the discussion portion of the afternoon. Iszi Lawrence invites Curator Sam Moorhead and historian David Stuttard to review the film and compare the glamour and political intrigue of Hollywood to that of the historical Cleopatra’s life.
