The American Dream: pop to the present will be the first major exploration of American printmaking from the 1960s to the present to be staged in the UK.

The exhibition features work by some of the greatest artists of the period, including Jasper Johns, Ed Ruscha, and Andy Warhol, which demonstrate the vital, creative importance and expansion of printmaking over six decades.

In this exclusive lecture Exhibition Curator Stephen Coppel, British Museum, will explore the changing face of American art with varied movements such as pop, minimalism and photorealism, as well the different ways that prints have addressed issues of race, gender and power. Includes a complimentary drink.
