Guarantee
If you are not entirely satisfied with your product (including books, replica items and other products but not e-tickets or Membership) we will be happy to exchange or refund it. Please contact Customer Services on 0800 218 2222 (or +44 (0) 20 3073 4970 from outside the UK) to find out how to make an exchange or refund. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Product descriptions
The British Museum replicas have been carefully made to recreate the look and feel of the original object and, in most cases, will reflect the damage or ageing of the original object. Every effort is made to be as accurate as possible in our descriptions, specifications, colour and prices, however, these may change due to circumstances beyond our control. Sizes are given as a guide only.
Pricing
Prices on this website may vary from those in the British Museum shops. All items offered are subject to availability at the time of ordering. Please note that some products may be subject to specific terms and conditions. These will be written on the individual product page where applicable.
How do I apply my Membership discount?
Members receive a 10% discount off all purchases of books and merchandise from the online shop, not including the delivery charge.
On the Basket Summary page, there is a button titled 'Validate Membership' – click this button and enter your Membership number, and your discount will be applied to the basket total. Please note, only one discount code can be used at a time on the online shop, so Member’s discounts will not be applied when other codes are in use.
