Susanna (biblical figure; Female)

Old Testament figure (Apocrypha); a virtuous woman who refused the advances of two elders; in revenge she was brought to trial and condemned to death, but rescued by Daniel (q.v.), sent from God, who showed the evidence of the elders to be contradictory. Susanna was therefore released and the two men sentenced.
