Bonfiglio Zaccagnini (sculptor/medallist; Italian; Male; 1793 - 1867)

Medallist and cameo engraver. His first medals date to around 1846, using the works of famous Renaissance artists as themes. In 1852, commissioned by the Camera Apostolica to make the annual pontificate medal. Made many medals of a religious nature.
