Painter of the Aphrodite Bowl

Chian vase painter whose name is unknown. He is named after the large Aphrodite bowl from Naukratis and now located in the British Museum. His style of painting stands out because he typically depicts the facial details of goats in the same manner, with a wrinkle underlining the eye and the division of the goat's beard with a line. A number of bowls and chalices are attributed to him.
