Doctor and amateur archaeologist who lived in Weybridge, Surrey. During the First World War served in Macedonia in the RAMC. He was based around Amphipolis on the Struma front, where an Archaic-Hellenistic Greek cemetery was uncovered. Donated contents of an Amphipolis grave to the Museum in 1918. Previously donated Roman coin from Brooklands in 1917 (he was the medic at the racetrack/RFC base there).
