Engraver, b. Belluno. A pupil of Joseph Wagner in Venice, and set up for himself as publisher working in a similar way to Wagner. Pellegrino del Col and Francesco del Pedro both worked for him. He was seen as potentially a dangerous competitor by the Remondini (see A.W.A.Boschloo, 'The prints of the Remondini', Amsterdam 1998).
