Firm of draughtsmen for wood engravings, lithographers and colour printers. Opened branches in Liverpool, 1840, London, 1845, and Manchester, 1850. First to use steam power for lithographic printing in Britain, as Maclure, MacDonald & Macgregor, London, in 1850. At some point describe themselves as 'Lithographers to the Queen'.
