Preacher; one of the most influential men in Holland until his exile in 1618. Chief spokesman of the Armenian Remonstrants during their struggle against Calvinism; tutor to Frederick Henry. Returned to Holland in 1626 and later became preacher at the Remonstrant Church in Amsterdam.
