    Acquired in Japan in 1929 by the late Prince Henry, Duke of Gloucester (1900-1974) when he visited to present the Order of the Garter from King George V to the Showa Emperor. Accepted by HM Government in lieu of Inheritance Tax and allocated to the British Museum, 2008.
