        Lettered in lower margin with production details and a line of Latin text from the Book of Ruth: "Vocate me Mara, quia amaritudine valde replevit me Omnipotens" and "Antonius van Dyck pinxit. S. à Bolswert sculpsit / Martinus vanden Enden excudit Antwerpiae Cum privilegio".

    This print was issued as a black and white facsimile by the British Museum in 'Reproductions of Prints in the British Museum', New Series Part VII (Specimens of Line-engraving by Masters of the Netherlands Schools Under the Influence of Rubens and Van Dyck (About 1620-1660)), Published by the Trustees in 1898, where it was number III and described there as 'Scheltius À Bolswert. Lamentation over the Body of Christ: after Van Dyck.'; see 1899,03.22.62.3 (Shelfmark 245*.b.21).
