        Lettered below the image with the title, six lines of verse in three sections 'Disguis'd thro' Life, a Layman at ye Block ... But Justice now denies my Carcase Room.' and 'Publish'd according to Act of Parliament June 15th. 1747. / The original very scarce Print, of which this is a Fac-simile, was added to the Collection of Mr. Ireland by Doctr. J. Webster, an intimate friend of Hogarth from whose hands he receiv'd it soon after the execution of Lord Lovat with an assurance of it's being his own design. / Publish'd May 1st. 1788, by Molteno & Co. No. 131 Pall Mall.'.
        Annotated in ink on the recto 'June 1747'.
