This is the title-page to a series of thirteen plates showing cavalcades, for the rest of the series see also S.4571-4583. For another complete series see 1861,0713.1445-1457 and 1897,1313.202. For another impression of this frontispiece, see also 1861,0713.1449.

These are prints after van Hoy. The prints of cavalcades by Nicolaus van Hoy were published in Francesco Sbarra's 'La Contessa dell' Aria e dell' Aqua festa a cavallo rappresentata nell' augustissime nozze dell M.M. dell'Imperatore Leopold e dell' Infante Margherita della Spagne' in 1667. For the series of cavalcades by van Hoy, performed on the same occasion, see 1861,0713.1437-1444 and S.6330-6337.
