Thank you for your interest in our sleepovers. The well-being of our staff and visitors is our priority at this time and, as a result of government guidance, we're currently unable to host on-site sleepovers

Sleepover in the British Museum galleries.

Experience the Museum after dark and learn all about a specially selected historical theme through workshops, activities and storytelling.  

At the end of the evening, spend the night sleeping in the Egyptian and Assyrian galleries, surrounded by kings and gods from the ancient world.

In the morning explore a gallery before the Museum opens to the public for the day.

Young Friends receive a £15 discount on sleepover tickets (each Young Friend can book five tickets but one must be an adult) and Young Friends Membership starts at just £25. Join online now.

Get up close to the Museum's collection and stay after dark in the Egyptian sculpture gallery where you'll sleep among ancient kings, pharaohs, temples and tombs.
