Join us for an unforgettable night at the British Museum! 

Get closer to history and experience the Museum after dark with Young Friends Sleepovers. Each sleepover has a unique historical theme and you'll have the opportunity to take part in workshops, activities and storytelling designed to bring the past to life. 

After an action-packed evening, you'll spend the night sleeping in the Egyptian and Assyrian galleries, surrounded by kings and gods from the ancient world. In the morning, you'll have breakfast and the chance to undertake an exclusive gallery trail before the Museum opens to the public.

If you're not able to visit us on-site, you can also recreate the magic of the British Museum in your own home with our Stay-at-home sleepovers, featuring a range of exciting activities and crafts exclusively for Young Friends.

Experience the Museum after dark and discover more about two of the globe's greatest civilisations: the ancient Greeks and Persians through crafts, workshops and storytelling. At the end of the evening, you'll spend the night sleeping in the Egyptian and Assyrian galleries, surrounded by kings and gods from the ancient world.

Join us in the morning for breakfast and the chance to undertake an exclusive trail of our new exhibition Luxury and power Persia to Greece.
