Membership allows you to discover two million years of human history while donating to The British Museum Friends. From just £64 a year (with discounts for those aged Under 26), Membership makes visits to the Museum a cultural adventure with:
- Free unlimited entry to exhibitions
- A programme of special events
- Use of an exclusive Members' Room
- The British Museum Magazines three times a year
- And many more benefits.
A number of our permanent galleries are open and ready to be explored via a one-way route. Everyone – including Members – needs to book a free general admission ticket in advance to ensure physical distancing and a safe and welcoming environment. Please note the Museum will remain open under the Tier 2 COVID alert level. We will be following government advice and will inform ticket holders if there are any changes that may affect their visit. Please only visit with those in your household or support bubble.
Your Membership subscription is a donation that allows us to support the important work of the Museum. We want to make sure you're getting the most out of your Membership and we've created a special page with online resources and ways to engage with the Museum and collection.
