Samsung Great Court Games 2017 prize draw terms and conditions

• This will apply to four sessions of the Samsung Great Court Games, on the following dates:

  •      Saturday 16 September 2017
  •      Saturday 28 October 2017
  •      Saturday 11 November 2017
  •      Saturday 9 December 2017

• There will be four prize draws.

• Eligible participants for each prize draw must complete the evaluation form and return it to a member of staff at the end of their participation in one of the Samsung Great Court Games sessions, providing their full name and one valid email address. Late, incomplete, corrupted or incomprehensible entries or entries including an invalid email address will be ineligible.

• The prize draws will take place within one week of each session, and the winners and runners-up will be notified by the following dates:

  •      Friday 22 September 2017
  •      Friday 3 November 217
  •      Friday 17 November 2017
  •      Friday 15 December 2017

• Employees of the British Museum and its affiliates, Samsung Electronics and its affiliates, all subsidiary companies, prize promoters, their immediate families, their agencies and companies associated with the promotion are ineligible to enter.

• Each eligible entry for a prize draw will be valid only for the prize draw next following the session and only one entry per family is permitted each month.

• The prizes are as stated in the prize draw description and are non-transferable and non-refundable. No cash alternative will be offered.

• The promoter nonetheless reserves the right to substitute the prizes (or any part of them) for a prize of equivalent or greater monetary value if this is necessary for reasons beyond its control.

• The draws will be administered by the promoter and a winner and runner-up for each will be selected at random. The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

• The promoter reserves the right to request a winner or runner-up to provide proof of identity and proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the promoter.

• The winners and runners-up will be notified by email. If the winner or runner-up does not claim the prizes within two weeks of the notification emails being sent, or if the prizes are unable to be delivered following the reasonable efforts of the promoter, they will forfeit the prizes and a new winner or runner-up will be drawn.

• Each winner and runner-up will need to provide a postal address within the UK and the prize will be sent to them via recorded delivery.

• These terms and conditions are subject to the laws of England and Wales and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts and it is a condition of entry into any prize draw that all entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

• Personal data provided will be processed only for the administration of these prize draws except where participants have opted in to receiving Families emails from the British Museum.

• The promoter of the prize draws is The British Museum Great Court Limited (company number 04098945) of Great Russell Street, London WC1B 3DG.
