We're delighted to have had Samsung's support for our award-winning digital learning experiences.

We can, however, confirm that Samsung's sponsorship of our digital learning programme will come to an end this summer. We're now seeking a new sponsor and we hope to relaunch a reimagined digital learning offer in the near future. To stay up to date with news, updates and information about our schools and family programmes, please sign up to our schools newsletter for teachers.

Connect your class to the British Museum for a free live interactive workshop. For UK school children aged 7–11, these workshops cover areas of the history curriculum from prehistory and ancient Egypt to the Indus Valley, Greek temples and Roman Britain.

Through live activities, interactive quizzes and thought-provoking questions your class will enhance their knowledge and understanding of the past.

Our expert will help to develop your students historical inquiry skills and challenge them to think critically. Find out more about how a Virtual Visit works below.

Join the tens of thousands of students who have been taught through the SDDC's Virtual Visits since 2011.

How it works

Samsung Electronics is proud to sponsor the Digital Discovery Centre at the British Museum, as part of our global commitment to youth and education. We have been working together in partnership since 2008, developing an innovative digital learning programme offered to schools and families. We are delighted that over 20,000 visitors every year are using Samsung's latest technology to explore and discover the Museum's collection in new ways. By introducing our advanced technology into a learning environment, we hope to open the door to a world of possibilities.
