Take a free tour of a British Museum gallery with Samsung tablets, using augmented reality to examine the objects on display.

Designed for UK school children, your class will identify objects, uncover hidden information, and complete activities to reveal the history of these objects. Tablet Tours will help develop your students' historical inquiry skills and enable them to engage with the past in exciting and innovative ways.

  • Ages 7–11 (KS2)
  • Curriculum links: History, Art and Design, Computing
  • Maximum group size: 32
  • Session time: 60 mins
  • The school teacher is responsible for guiding the students to the gallery. The tablets will direct the tour within the gallery.
