Learn, discover and create in the Museum's digital centre.

The Samsung Digital Discovery Centre offers free digital activities for schools and families.

Visitors can participate in interactive workshops and sessions, using technology to explore the collection to discover the world's history and cultures.

Activities for schools

Teachers can choose from a range of free school sessions.

Students can attend a workshop in the Samsung Digital Discovery Centre or take part in a self-led activity in one of the galleries.

Virtual visits are also available, linking school classrooms to the Samsung Digital Discovery Centre for a live video conferencing workshop.

Activities for families

Get involved in free activities on weekends throughout the year.

Strike a pose in front of the green screen to see yourself become part of incredible Museum objects, or snap photos of the galleries on an interactive scavenger hunt with other families.

Every activity gives families the chance to make memories and share skills together with their children. Tailored under-fives workshops are also available for the Museum's youngest visitors and their families.

Samsung Electronics is proud to sponsor the Digital Discovery Centre at the British Museum, as part of our global commitment to youth and education. We have been working together in partnership since 2008, developing an innovative digital learning programme offered to schools and families. We are delighted that over 20,000 visitors every year are using Samsung’s latest technology to explore and discover the Museum’s collection in new ways. By introducing our advanced technology into a learning environment, we hope to open the door to a world of possibilities.
