Join VocalEyes' Lonny Evans for a live audio described talk of Thomas Becket: murder and the making of a saint.
This talk will explore key objects which illustrate the life, death and legacy of Thomas Becket. It follows his tumultuous journey from a merchant's son to an archbishop, and from a revered saint in death to a 'traitor' in the eyes of Henry VIII.
Alongside images of each object, Lonny will provide a detailed visual description which is accompanied by expert insight from one of the exhibition curators.
VocalEyes is a charity working to increase opportunities for blind and visually impaired people to experience and enjoy art and heritage across the UK.
