Explore the Museum after dark with a torchlight tour of the Assyrian galleries.
The palaces of the Assyrian kings were filled with images of gods, monsters and supernatural beings. This tour will focus on these powerful figures and their important role in protecting the king and his vast empire.
Galleries on this tour:
Led by a Museum curator and held after the Museum closes to the public, this exciting experience reveals the collection in a whole new light.
Booking information
- Please meet 10 minutes before the start time at the Main entrance on Great Russell Street. View the Museum map for more information.
- Torches will be provided.
- Please note, light levels will be low during the evening. Please let us know if you need any additional support during the event by emailing friends@britishmuseum.org
- In line with current government and NHS guidance, face masks are not mandatory but guests are welcome to wear them if they wish.
