Join Alan Murray as we delve into the Islamic world (The Albukhary Foundation Gallery) collection at the British Museum.

Exploring Islamic architecture and art – and the dynasties that created them – this British Sign Language (BSL) tour of Rooms 42–43 will highlight the geographical and cultural diversity of the Islamic world from the seventh century to the present day. Be inspired by some of the most significant objects and artworks in the collection.

Alan D Murray MBE is a British Sign Language user, Deaf trainer and consultant with lifelong interests in arts, culture, history, heritage and science. He delivers culturally rich guided talks and tours in BSL, aiming to break down barriers and open up the arts to the Deaf BSL-using community across London.
