Description: The surface was dusted with a soft brush and vacuum. The surface was then cleaned with smoke sponge. Areas of lifting or powdery pigment/paint were consolidated using Klucel G in IMS. Mobile splinters weresecured using Klucel G in IMS. Mobile splinters requiring a gap fill were stabilised using Klucel G in IMS bulked with dyed Japanese tissue paper. Areas of mobile shell decoration were re-secured using Paraloid B72 in IMS:Acetone (1:1). The proper right ear was secured using Klucle G in IMS and dyed Japanese Tisseu paper.
