- Biography
- Painter, architect, designer. Born in Hamburg; died in Berlin. From 1907 to 1914 worked for the company AEG as its first industrial designer and artistic advisor and carved out its corporate identity, before the concept was widespread practice. Played an important role in the development of Modernist architecture.
