Biography: Early Etruscan red-figure vase painter whose name is not known. Nevertheless consistent individual characteristics of style suggest the existence of a unique artistic personality. He is called the Painter of London F484, having been named after a stamnos in the British Museum decorated with Apollo (?) and Lasa accompanied by Pan and a satyr on one side and a horseman with Eros and Lasa on the other. A few other vases have been attributed to his hand on the basis of style.
