- Biography
- Scottish genre painter and etcher, b. Fife, trained Edinburgh. Moved to London in 1805 at RA Schools. Royal Academician. His own etchings c.1814-24. Later often co-published important prints after his work. His posthumous sale was held at Christie's 21 June 1860.
