A record of Walker's work compiled by E E Leggatt is contained in two imperial-size solanders in BM P&D (1915,0710.1 to 127, placed in c.20*). It consists of a large collection of photographs, wood-engravings, letters and cuttings, arranged on large sheets, and each register number corresponds to one of these sheets. The individual items are numbered consecutively in pencil from 1 to 630, and these numbers are standardly cited as Leggatt catalogue numbers. Corresponding to these numbers is a series of slips compiled by Leggatt with information on each work. These are kept in a box, which also contains a manuscript index book with titles in alphabetical order that cross-refer to the Leggatt sheet numbers.
