Biography: Painter and etcher. Son of Pietro Longhi, after whom he made many plates. Etched series of 25 portraits for the lives of contemporary Ventian painters, 'Compendio delle vite de' pittori veneziani' in 1762. The 1st ed. of part only, with plates unnumbered, published in 1760 as 'Raccolta di ritratti'.
