- Fine art dealers and print publishers; the firm was established in 1820 by the sons of Henry Leggatt (1817-64) of 79 Cornhill; also traded from other addresses in the City until the early 20th century, by which time also in St James's; the firm closed in 1992.
E.E.Leggatt gave many prints to the BM in his own name, and have been a separate entry under his name. Many have been stamped with the mark Lugt 1664e.
