Notice of his death in Hendon in Gentleman's Magazine 22 December 1811. Posthumous sale of his stock, King and Lochee, 26.vi.1812 and three following days. (Sc.A.2.7/4).
May be identical with John Harris, printseller, of 26 Little Bell Alley, Coleman Street, London, whose 1777 Sun Fire Insurance Policy 405232 (268) is Guildhall MS 11936.
