- Biography
- Draughtsman, illustrator, and painter of fairies and landscapes. Known as 'Dickie' Doyle; son of John, and uncle of Conan Doyle. Brother of Charles Altamont, Henry Edward and James William Edmund. Illustrator for 'Punch', 1843-50, resigned over the paper's anti-papal policies.
