- Biography
- Medallist, painter, sculptor and printmaker. Royal Academician. After serving in the Air Force, studied at the Royal College of Art, 1948-51, and had his first exhibition at Gimpel Fils Gallery, 1952. Produced work for Coventry Cathedral. His first medals belong to the early 1970s; died 30 October 2014.
In 2018 a substantial group of prints and medals from the artist's estate came to the BM via the Acceptance in Lieu scheme, a selection of which were shown in G90a (no catalogue) in 2020.
