- Collector and etcher; brother of Charles-Michel (q.v.). Collector of drawings, major buyer at 1775 Mariette sale, and of Dutch paintings. Native of Marseille, in Paris c.1765, in Italy 1766-7. Lagoy bought drawings from his collection, as did Richard Payne Knight in 1791.
