- Biography
- Traveller, author and amateur draughtswoman and lithographer; married 1. Capt. Thomas Graham, RN (d. South America, 1822); 2. Sir A. W. Callcott, the landscape painter. She published accounts of her travels in India, South America and Italy, and wrote several children's books, a monograph on Nicholas Poussin (1820), and on the Arena chapel decorated by Giotto in Padua (1835; shelfmark 163*.c.08). The BM has albums with drawings of her travels in England, India, Malta, Italy and in South America. The BM also has three drawn portraits of her by Charles Eastlake and Charles Phillips.
