Oomersee Mawjee

Biography: Renowned Indian silver-smith based in Bhuj, in the Kutch district of Western India. Much partonised by British Army and civilian personnel, as well as by Anglophile Indians. Later commissioned by London emporia such as Liberty. His sons shifted production to Baroda in the 1920s, where one of them was silver-smith to the Gaekwad of Baroda.
