- Biography
- Poet and printmaker; trained and worked as a commercial engraver, but chiefly remembered for his original work as an artist, poet and illustrator; invented his own technique of relief etching to produce his "illuminated printing"; printed and hand-finished his books in small numbers, each copy being unique.
