Biography: Name found on a wood-engraving published in the Illustrated London News in 1860: 'Subiaco, in the Papal states, near the frontier of Naples - from a drawing by M. de Bligny'. Perhaps same as Achille Bligny (1826-1862), lithographer and draughtsman specialized in landscapes and architecture, active in Rouen (1840/50) then in Italy.
