Biography: A manuscript, translated as 'Five poems', based on the work of Nizami (q.v) uses narratives built around traditional heros. Amongst his poems includes Khusrau va Shirin (q.v) and Laila va Majnun (q.v). The first Khamsa was comissioned by Mughal Emperor Akbar (q.v) in 1595.
