- Print publisher in partnership with John Ryall. Death at the age of 72 recorded in the Gentleman's Magazine 19 September 1803, living in West Square, Surrey, and a stockbroker: 'he was for many years a book and printseller in Cornhill.'
Trade card in Heal Collection (Heal,17.135) advertises "Ryall & Withy, Booksellers & Printsellers, at Hogarth's Head & Dial, opposite Salisbury Court, Fleet Street, London. Sells books in all languages, arts & sciences; all sorts of English and foreign prints & maps. Variety of colour'd perspective views, paintings on glass, India pictures, &c. &c. Prints, drawings, &c fram'd & glaz'd in the most elegant taste. Likewise all sorts of stationary wares. N.B. Gentlemen, merchants & shopkeepers in town or country may be supplied with any of the above mentioned goods, wholesale or retail, at the lowest prices."
