Biography: Christian saint and martyr; an Irish or Scottish pilgrim, who passed through Lower Austria on his journey to Jerusalem. There he was charged with being a spy and hung at Stockerau, near Vienna. Miracles supposedly wrought by his body caused him to be regarded as a saint, and his body brought to Melk.
