- Netherlandish goldsmith and engraver, signature consisted of the monogram IA or IAM and usually the place name Zwoll(e), sometimes additionally with a hallmark (gold drill). Born in Zwolle, and worked in Gouda and Delft. It has been suggested that this Master should be identified with Jan van den Mijnnesten, a painter who became a citizen of Zwolle in 1462. Another possibility is the goldsmith Johannes Ludolphi, who became a citizen in Zwolle in 1479. The stilistic diversity of the 26 known prints could also indicate a workshop (Finkenstaedt, 1966/67, p. 122).
