- Trade card in Heal Collection (Heal,101*.2) advertises "Bland's Offices, For Hiring Men and Women Servants... Ladies and Gentlemen may depend on being immediatley supplied with Men, Boys, Women Servants, or Girls, of good Characters, in all Stations. Servants applying, may depend on being immediatley sent to good Places. There are several Apartments for the Accommodation of those Ladies and Gentlemen who chuse [sic] to hire Women Servants or Girls, at the Houses, where they attend from Eleven to Three every Day; Men and Boys call from Nine to Eleven, and are sent to Places. Ladies, Gentlemen, or Servants applying to either of the above Offices, will have the Benefit of both. N.B. The Proprietor flattering himself, that he has given Satifaction to those Ladies and Gentlemen that have honoured him with their Favours, humbly solicits a Continuance of the same."
