Biography: Born in Bournemouth to Ghanaian father and Anglo-Jewish mother. Studied Fine Arts at Goldsmiths College, gained MA at Camberwell College of Art, and PhD at Chelsea College of Art in 2016. Currently lives and works in London. Works mainly as painter but also uses video, digital design, collage as well as installation and performance. Re-imagines mythic, historic and legendary encounters across Africa and the global Diaspora. Donkor's artworks are held in public and private collections in UK and internationally.
