Description
The mount on the front side was glued to the substrate wood with a glue film (dry film cold setting fish glue Kremer) and clamped in position for 6 hours. The same glue film was used to adhere the base board back in position. Dry film was used to prevent staining and avoid water damage to the marbled paper at the inside of the box. One side joint to base gap was to wide big to use the film glue, it was filled with a fillet of balsa wood and glued in position with fish glue and colored with watercolours Aquarell watercolours (made up of ochre and gum arabic) paint. This teratment was carried out by Mathaiss Manzini intern from Academy of Fine Art Vienna under the supervision of Philip Kevin (CSR Organics)
