Reason: Loan
Description: The offering table was first vaccummed to remove any loose dirt from the surface. The stone was given a gently cleaned using deionised water on cotton wool swabs. This localised clean removed/ lifted some loose water based dirt but did not remove the black patina, therefore giving a minimal clean which allowed the shallow carving to be seen clearly.
