Post-excavation
Description
Cleaned with deionised water using cotton swabs, which also removed waxy coating/ residue. In a few areas used enzymes (saliva) and a cotton swab to clean the surface. On the female figure the number on the fron of the object was retouched using Cryla acrylic colours. The plaster fill along the base of bothe figures was checked for stability and consolidated using 5% Paraloid B72 where necessary and gap filled using Flugger acrylic putty. The fills were retouched using Cryla colours. The male figure was on a feww areas consolidated around the neck using Mowital B30H (polyvinyl buteral) 2% in IMS and one area on the shoulder using Primal B60A 2% in deionised water. The female figure was consolidated on a few areas around the decoration of the neck using Mowital B30H and one area flake relaid using Primal B60A, as per male figure. The area on the right wrist of the female figure appears to be pigment indicating a bracelet or decoration.
