Reason: Permanent Exhibition
Description: Cleaned with acetone, using cotton wool swabs on a satay stick. After cleaning surface wiped with Kleenex tissue to remove the remaining solvent. The brown lumpy fill was removed using acetone swabs and a scalpel, which was then steam cleaned. Missing areas filled with Fynebond mixed with fumed silica and pigments. Cut back with a scalpel blade and sanded smooth with various grades of abrasive paper.
