Treatment; 02 Aug 2005; Clean, remove tarnish.; Metals

Reason: Permanent Exhibition
Description: The surface dirt and dust was removed using cotton swabs of Acetone (propan-1-one/dimethyl ketone) and Industrial methylated spirits (ethanol,methanol). This removed the dirt and brigthened both the metal and the enamel. Liased with Ceramics conservators to discuss the enamel.
