Reason: Temporary Exhibition
Description: The dust was removed using cotton swabs of Industrial methylated spirits (ethanol,methanol). The tarnish was removed using Silvo silver and chrome (cotton wadding,white spirit,Newburgh chalk,china clay). Any residues were removed using White Spirit (composition variable - petroleum distillate). The dirt was removed a scalpel blade and the red deposit was lift in situ. The object was re-numbered using permanent ink.
